Leña in Detroit
Leña only opened a little over a year ago, but it's already become a champion of Motor City's competitive culinary scene, with an Hour Detroit honor for "Best New Restaurant" as well as spots on Eater’s “Hottest in Detroit” List, Resy’s “Top Detroit Restaurants” List, and Detroit Magazine’s “Best New Restaurants” List. All to say, it was a given we'd have them at the top of our list when we launched in the city, and we were delighted to be welcomed with open arms by Exec Chef Mike Conrad and his powerhouse team. The night only got better after we arrived though, with a dazzling array of incredible dishes perfectly complemented by Chef Conrad's culinary tales. Suffice it to say, the bar's been raised high, but rest assured: When it comes to Detroit, we're only getting started!

1st Place: Hipogloso en Salsa Verde, a roasted halibut dish with plancha potato and salsa verde
2nd Place: Ajo Blanco, a blonde gazpacho dish with jamon serrano and roasted grapes
3rd Place: Gamba al Ajillo, a grilled prawn dish with a green garlic emulsion and toasted bread
