Oaxacan Oasis Tasting Event

Boston - May 6th at Sabina Mezcaleria

Given Chef/Owner Allan Rodriguez is one of Boston's go-to gurus for Mexican cuisine with his El Centro and La Catrina spots, it's no wonder the brand new Sabina Mezcaleria caught our eye. (We weren't the only ones either, judging by the gem's instant placement on Eater’s “Hottest New in Boston” List and Resy’s “Hit List”.) All that said, we were still blown away when we arrived, so charmed were we by Chef Rodriguez's powerful culinary know-how, his rockstar staff, and, of course, the irresistible food. Luckily, you don't need a time machine to experience this incredible night. 1st Place: Sope Trio with three options of carnitas, shrimp chipotle, and barbacoa & chicharrón


2nd Place: Amor Canela, a spiral churro with vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche


3rd Place: Esquite Tostada, a charred corn dish with chipotle mayo, sour cream, lime, cotija cheese, micro greens, and avocado
