Modern Scandinavian Dinner Event

Chicago - July 23rd at Lost Larson

Heading into our first-ever collaboration with Lost Larson, we weren't quite sure what to expect menu-wise given the fact that this place literally JUST expanded into dinner service after building a reputation as one of Chicago's best bakeries. That being said, we certainly had high hopes for the event given Exec Chef/Owner Bobby Schaffer's jaw-dropping culinary resume; he previously led the pastry programs at Blue Hill at Stone Barns (#28 on the 2019 World's 50 Best Restaurants List) and Grace (Three Michelin Stars). Well, we're happy to report that all of Chef Schaffer's incredibly experience has clearly paid off, as post-event attendee ratings put this event right up there with the top-rated events we've EVER hosted! So, for all those CHI members who weren't able to attend, make sure to go check this place out on your own. Below are the top three courses, as rated by attendees on their feedback cards:


1st Place: Pork Cheek Raviolo - with egg and ricotta

2nd Place: Harbison Cheese Tart - with fermented blueberry

3rd Place: Roasted Chicken - with wax beans, capers, anchovy and pine nuts
