New Americana Dinner Event

Chicago - January 9th at Split Rail

For our second-ever Chicago event, we ventured out to the border of Ukranian Village and West Town for a 9-Course "New Americana" feast with Chef Zoe Schor at her brand new restaurant: Split Rail. Honestly, we had no idea what New Americana food was, as we had never heard the term before. But, we did know that Chef Schor is a bad-ass chef who was super excited to host us, so we were confident she'd bring the house down for us!  Well, we're very pleased to report that she did indeed put on an incredible show for the 70 attendees. For those of you who weren't able to make it, worry not... This most definitely will not be our only event at Split Rail! Below are the top 3 courses of this event series as rated by attendees on their feedback cards: 

1st Place: Loaded Baked Potato Gnocchi - with nueske's bacon, sour cream, hook's 3 year cheddar, and crispy potato skins

2nd Place: Roasted Vegetable Medley - with hook's 2 year cheddar cheese sauce

3rd Place: Beef Skewers - with spicy green sauce and greek yogurt
