Virtù Honest Craft

Day 1: 5-Course Globally Inspired Tasting Series

This exceptional eatery in Old Town Scottsdale jumped right onto Esquire’s “Best New Restaurants in America” List when it opened in 2013 and was a 2014 Semi-Finalist for a James Beard “Best New Restaurant” citation. Keeping things fresh, it received Wine Spectator’s 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 “Awards of Excellence.” Eater has also named Virtù Honest Craft to its list of “38 Essential Restaurants in Phoenix.” Chef/Owner Gio Osso, whose Pizzeria Virtù is another Old Town institution, delights diners with a menu that features such distinctive fare as maiale (porcini-dusted pork rib chop with peppers, onions, potatoes, and marsala), anatra (smoked duck, miso cashew puree, roasted grapes, and grilled rapini) and capesante (scallops, lentil, and roasted green chile butter). Gorgeous desserts too, like butterscotch budino and pineapple olive oil cake with dark rum gelato and pineapple anglaise. “Irresistible,” raves Phoenix Magazine, but why resist? Join us as we sample Chef Osso’s creations and hear what he has to say about the glories of Italian cuisine.
