The Bottle Tree

Day 1: 5-Course Local Meets Global Tasting Series

A true survivor on the restaurant scene (it opened in 2019) this Belmont eatery joins global flavors with Southern traditions and techniques, and has been keeping it fresh enough to land a spot on Charlotte Magazine’s “50 Best Restaurants of 2024” List. Situated on a mid-century ranch that was formerly home to the mayor of Belmont, The Bottle Tree is authentically farm-to-table, sourcing its meats and produce from local providers. Executive Chef Kyle Gaddas puts that prime raw material to work, turning out dishes like fried green tomatoes with coconut serrano dressing and pickled garlic scapes, crab cakes with kaffir bay cream, pork belly with blueberries and kimchi powder, wagyu wontons, and Icelandic cod with cashew fried rice. Good food, good vibes, a great night out. What more can we say?
