Opened just this past May, this elegant Buckhead eatery jumped right onto Eater’s “Hottest New Restaurants in Atlanta” List and Infatuation’s “Best New Restaurants in Atlanta” List. Chef/Owner Pattie Lawlertratana, born and raised in Bangkok, emigrated to the US and graduated top of her class at Atlanta’s Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She then opened Bangkok Thai, one of Atlanta’s longest-running Thai restaurants. Now, at her new venture, she offers a vast selection of fresh seafood, including coldwater lobster, oysters, and more than ten varieties of sustainably caught fish delivered daily from the country’s best suppliers. Consider such dishes as the Thai lobster roll, shrimp & scallops with green curry fettucini pasta, brussels sprouts, and red bell pepper, and the luscious braised short ribs for landlubbers. The space is absolutely stunning, all black-and-gold coastal-themed and decorated with pieces from Thailand and fish traps hanging from the ceiling. “The best new restaurant in Atlanta,” raves Eater, so naturally we are pumped to visit here, to chat with Chef Lawlertratana, and to dig deeper into this cuisine that the world so dearly loves.

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Chef Pattie Lawlertratana moved to Atlanta, GA, where she graduated top of her class from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in 2017. Through Le Cordon Bleu, she received the opportunity to stage at several top Michelin-Starred restaurants in France before returning to Atlanta and becoming part owner of Bangkok Thai. Snap Thai Fish House is her newest restaurant.
The Lineup
Courses #1 & #5 will be individually plated. Courses #2-#4 will be family style. There will be no substitutions for dairy, gluten, soy, or garlic restrictions.

- Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.
- Does this restaurant allow BYOB?
- No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
- What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
- Restaurants purchase the food for our events 14 days before the event date, at which point we are on the hook for the cost of your ticket. As such, we are not able to offer refunds (or credits towards future events) for any cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of the event date. We will, however, issue full refunds for all cancellation requests submitted at least 14 days before the event date. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@tastingcollective.com.

- Can I bring guests/non-members to this event?
- Yep! For this event, guest tickets are $90 + tax & tip, and you can bring up to 3 guests. Please note, guests are not allowed to attend unaccompanied by a member.
