Revelie Luncheonette
Day 2: 5-Course Avant-Americana Tasting Series
Opened last April, this SoHo eatery (which jumped right onto the New York Times’ List of the “29 Best New Restaurants in the City” and Eater’s List of “Hottest in NYC”) is an offshoot of Raoul’s, the beloved bistro from Alsatian brothers Guy and Serge Raoul, which has captivated the town since 1975. Under the aegis of Chef David Honeysett, Revelie Luncheonette, named for Serge’s granddaughters Rêve and Amelie, offers Gallic classics like clams casino, leek vinaigrette, duck confit, and onion soup, but also a killer BLT accompanied by heaven’s version of potato chips and green chili cheeseburger spring rolls. (Yes, you read that right.) “An instant neighborhood favorite,” says Haute Living. “The new haute spot celebrates what makes New York City dining so special – it’s a family business full of heart that can be felt the moment you step in the door, focusing on simple, classic bites, but done exceptionally well.” We’re anxious to visit and hope to see you there!
