Precita Social

Day 1: 5-Course Globally-Inspired Gastronomy Tasting Series

Opened this past August in Bernal Heights, this cozy neighborhood bistro puts a creative twist on classic American dishes infused with French, Japanese, and Italian flavors – a combo that’s plopped it right onto Eater’s List of “San Francisco’s Best New Restaurants” and Infatuation’s “Hit List.” Chef/Owner Greg Lutes is also the chef/owner of the acclaimed 3rd Cousin, a Michelin-recognized restaurant located as well in Bernal Heights. Known for his inventive approach to California cuisine, Chef Lutes blends global flavors with local, seasonal ingredients to craft dishes that are both refined and welcoming. Here, he offers an inventive menu that features such dishes as pork bell sizzling rice with pole beans, hand-made taleggio tortellini with local chanterelles and truffle butter, chicken breast katsu with fennel and peppers, black cod with cranberry beans and miso butter, and sinful desserts like Bosc pear hand pies with salted caramel and banana chocolate bread pudding with butterscotch and soft serve. “A winner,” is how Eater describes Precita Social, so we are heading right over for what promises to be a very special evening. Hope you’ll join us!
