Post Haste
Day 1: 5-Course Avant-American Tasting Series
Opened in 2023, this East Kensington eatery jumped right onto Esquire’s list of “Best in America.” Executive Chef AJ Milton, an alum of the fabled Zahav (which was named one of the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants”) is working comparable magic at Post Haste, overseeing a menu that includes such creative fare as grilled little gem salad with smoked mushroom “bacon,” Parisian gnocchi with herbed mornay sauce, maitake mushrooms, and broccoli rabe, celery root schnitzel with carraway, sauerkraut, and mushroom gravy, and killer desserts like blueberry buttermilk sundae with rosemary granola. “Chic…comfortable,” is how Time Out describes this unique bar, and let us add that Post Haste’s mission is all about sustainability, with everything, from the bar fixings, wines, beers, and spirits, to the food sourced from the Eastern United States, and 95% of furniture and design details repurposed or recycled. We are very excited to spend an evening here, and hope you can join us!
