5-Course Globally Inspired Tasting Event

Opened in March, 2021 in the heart of the Warehouse district, this modern wine bar and restaurant with an Old World soul earned a spot on Eater’s 2023 “Best in NOLA” List. Small wonder, as Executive Chef Michael Shaffer is complementing Pluck's truly superb wine list with even more superb food. A native of southern California, Chef Shaffer has cooked at the local fine-dining site Lilette and at farm-focused Marjie’s Grill before starting Los Crudos, his popular BBQ and seafood-centric catering and pop-up business. At Pluck, he is featuring such tapas-like items as smoked trout deviled eggs, tuna crudo with watermelon aguachile, and wild mushroom toasts with goat cheese mousse and garlic confit. Main courses like duck leg confit with peach, fennel, and crème fraiche and flat iron chicken with Tuscan kale and grain mustard jus round out the picture. Leave room as well for toothsome desserts like Belgian chocolate and peanut butter tart with smoked sea salt and goat cheese flan with peach jam. Sounds to our ears like a lovely way to spend an evening!

Originally from California, Chef Michael Shaffer moved to NOLA to open a Spanish wine bar before the pandemic shifted his goals. After cooking for Lilette and Marjie’s Grill, as well as running BBQ & seafood-centric pop-up Los Crudos, he's finally realized a version of his dream, joining the Pluck team as Head Chef.

Do I have to bring printed tickets to the event?
No tickets are needed.

The ticket price covers the full cost of the meal.
Do guests need to be of a certain age to attend this event?
Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.
Does this restaurant allow BYOB?
No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
Tickets to our events are non-refundable. However, for emergency requests, we may allow members to transfer their tickets to friends, provided the guest ticket surcharge of $25 is paid when transferring a member ticket to a non-member. All ticket transfer requests (as well as the guest ticket surcharge) must be sent to us prior to the event. Any guests who have not paid the guest ticket surcharge will not be allowed entry.
Can I bring guests who are not members to this event?
Yep! Members are able to purchase up to 3 guest tickets to this event (based on availability). However, guest tickets are $20 more than member tickets ($85 + tax/tip), and guests will not be allowed entry to the event unless they're accompanied by a member.
What must I bring to the event?
