Osito

Day 1: 5-Course Live-Fire Flavors Tasting Series

Opened in 2021 in the Mission District, this Michelin-Starred eatery is the city's only restaurant where 100 percent of the food is cooked over a live fire. Infatuation has honored Osito with a place on its 2024 List of "Most Unique Dining Experiences in SF," while Time Out places it on its List of "Best SF Restaurants." Chef Seth Stowaway, who has been featured on StarChefs and whose nickname, meaning "little bear," gave rise to the name of his restaurant, offers food that is both elevated and elemental, served in a rustic, lodge-like environment where everything is simply beautiful. Here, the subtle perfume of smoke infuses dishes like king salmon with fennel and porcini or slow-cooked brisket brushed tableside with an intensely savory mussel BBQ sauce—and everything is exquisitely plated. "Osito brings a completely new (and captivating) culinary experience to San Francisco," raves Time Out. We are excited to visit this truly one-of-a-kind restaurant. See you there!
