Molotov

Day 1: 5-Course Summoning the Slavic Spirit Tasting Series

Opened January, 2023 in City Park, Molotov has swiftly cemented its place atop Mile High’s culinary charts, with Chef/Owner Bo Porytko named a 2025 James Beard Semi-Finalist for “Best Chef: Mountain,” as well as the restaurant landing on Eater Denver’s “38 Essentials” List and appearing on New York Times’ 2023 List of “Colorado’s Best Restaurants. Chef Porytko (who first became known for his time at Rebel Restaurant and Misfit Snack Bar) here channels his Ukrainian heritage with punky charm: cuckoo clocks and a floral-wheat vinok installation set the stage for horilka-fueled toasts. The menu too marries rustic roots and refined technique. Think short rib borscht with dilly smetana, roasted mirepoix dumpling, and bergamot oil, butternut pelmeni stuffed with maple smetana and sage oil, velvety varenyky in dill hollandaise, and showstoppers like rabbit kiev with carrot soubise. A Ukrainian American chef from Denver, Chef Bo Porytko is the owner and operator of 3 beloved Denver restaurants (Rebel Restaurant, Misfit SnackBar, and Molotov Kitchen + Cocktails). Praised by the likes of 5280, Westword, and Denver Post, he was previously nominated as for a James Beard “Emerging Chef" Award. He has also appeared on Food Network's Guy’s Grocery Games and is a Chopped winner.

Do guests need to be of a certain age to attend this event?
Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.
Does this restaurant allow BYOB?
No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
Restaurants purchase the food for our events 14 days before the event date, at which point we are on the hook for the cost of your ticket. As such, we are not able to offer refunds (or credits towards future events) for any cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of the event date. We will, however, issue full refunds for all cancellation requests submitted at least 14 days before the event date. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@tastingcollective.com.
What dietary restrictions/food allergies can be accommodated at this event?
Due to the large-format nature of our events, restaurants are not able to accommodate all dietary restrictions/food allergies or make any menu adjustments based on food preferences (e.g distaste for specific ingredients/flavor profiles).
