Meridian

5-Course Live-Fire Luxury Tasting Series

Originally debuting in 2021 as a Brazilian eatery in The Village, Big D’s sprawling residential complex, Meridian was named Eater’s “Restaurant of the Year.” It then reimagined itself and reopened in October 2025 under the aegis of Executive Chef Eduardo Osorio, a Los Angeles transplant who has devised a globe-trotting, live-fire-focused menu that has earned it a place on Eater’s List of “38 Essentials.” Chef Osorio, who launched his career cooking in the kitchen of the illustrious Restaurant Daniel in New York City, is delighting diners with signature dishes like shrimp toast, salmon crudo, chilled smoked clams, Wagyu tallow seared oysters, lamb Bolognese, duck breast with roasted cabbage and spiced figs, and what Infatuation calls “incredible cornbread.” Incredibly good desserts too, like black sesame s’mores, Vietnamese coffee ice cream, and banana bun with banana ice cream and banana miso caramel. This is bound to be a very special event indeed, so we hope you’ll be able to join us!

About the Host:

Eduardo Osorio

Executive Chef

A California native, Chef Eduardo Osorio began his culinary journey on the west side of LA, where he developed his craft within respected kitchens and alongside talented chefs. His dedication to his craft and continued growth earned him the MentorBKB Educational Grant, providing him the opportunity to further his culinary experience at the renowned and Michelin-Starred Restaurant Daniel in NYC. Today, he brings that experience and perspective to Meridian, where his culinary philosophy complements the restaurant’s focus on thoughtful cuisine, warm hospitality, and experiences designed to bring people together.
