5-Course Oceanic Opulence Tasting Event

Opened just this past July in Union Square, Maritime Boat Club has promptly charted a course right onto Eater SF’s “Best New Restaurants” List (October 2025) and Resy’s “Hit List” (September 2025). Helmed by veteran chef Felix Santos (whose impressive CV spans 3-Michelin-Starred titans of fine dining, Quince and Atelier Crenn) Maritime is a breezy, behind-the-curtain concept just off Bar Maritime. And yet, what a concept! Here Chef Santos has a chance to leans into a seafood-first, Mexican-accented menu of marvels, with delicacies like Tomales Bay mussels, steamed then marinated escabeche-style; peppers stuffed with a cod-and-scallop “seafood sausage”; grilled ikejime halibut glossed in bay laurel béarnaise; and, for a splurge, the Kraken tower of oysters, mussels, jumbo shrimp, and tuna tartare. We can't wait to climb aboard!

Felix Santos

Executive Chef

A graduate of Miami's culinary school, Chef Felix Santos moved to San Francisco to immerse himself in the city’s renowned culinary scene. After gaining early experience under Daniel Patterson (Haven) and Stuart Brioza (State Bird Provisions), he honed his craft at 3-Michelin-Starred Atelier Crenn and 3-Michelin-Starred Quince.

Courses #3 - #5 will be individually plated; courses #1 & #2 will be served family-style. This menu will be Shellfish, Mushroom, Peanut & Tree Nut Free. For the list of restrictions Chef is accommodating, scroll to the bottom of this page.

Do guests need to be of a certain age to attend this event?
Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.
Does this restaurant allow BYOB?
No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
Will this event be handicap acccessible?

What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
Restaurants purchase the food for our events 14 days before the event date, at which point we are on the hook for the cost of your ticket. As such, we are not able to offer refunds (or credits towards future events) for any cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of the event date. We will, however, issue full refunds for all cancellation requests submitted at least 14 days before the event date. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@tastingcollective.com.
What dietary restrictions/food allergies can be accommodated at this event?
Due to the large-format nature of our events, restaurants are not able to accommodate all dietary restrictions/food allergies or make any menu adjustments based on food preferences (e.g distaste for specific ingredients/flavor profiles). This restaurant will be offering substitutions exclusively for the following restrictions/allergies: Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Fish, Allium.
