Little Blue Bistro
Day 1: 5-Course Old-World Inspired Tasting Series
Opened just this past January, this exciting new eatery from Olivia Genthe of Fount Board & Table was quickly named to Eater’s List of 15 Essential Bishop Arts Restaurants” as well as its “Hottest in Dallas” List. Known for her deep commitment to seasonality, sustainability, and hospitality, Chef Genthe artfully blends European romanticism with Southern roots to create nostalgic and delightfully unexpected menus. Here, diners find dishes like escargots, terrine of rabbit and pork cheek, whitefish dip with roasted sunchoke, PEI mussels, Wagyu pot roast, and maybe an Italian cheesecake for dessert? And it’s all served up in an 80-year-old home whose interior has been transformed with dusty blue walls, walnut paneling, cushy bench seating, and tables adorned with candles and red roses. In other words, romantic! “The best dinner party you didn’t plan,” is how D Magazine sums up Little Blue Bistro, likening an evening here to “a visit to a cool friend.” Sounds like just the invitation we’ve been looking for!
