5-Course Inventive Indian Tasting Event

Opened in October of 2021, this Ravenna eatery has not only managed to ride out the pandemic, but has vaulted onto a host of “best of” lists, such as Eater’s “17 Incredible Indian and South Asian Restaurants in the Seattle Area” list and Condé Nast Traveler's "13 Exciting Indian Chefs" list. Indian-born Chef/Owner Preeti Agarwal built up a dedicated audience with her pop-up Indian dinners as well as Meesha, her first restaurant, which brought modern Indian cuisine to the Seattle dining scene by using local and fresh seasonal ingredients. Continuing in that vein, she has created a menu at Kricket Club that goes from toothsome street food favorites like Mumbai frankies, Bengali kathi rolls, and maska buns to exceptional goat and vegetable biryanis, rockfish curry, and to-die-for desserts like anjeer kulfi with figs and sesame brittle and gulkand mousse with rose jam and coconut fennel sorbet. We’re excited to visit Kricket Club and to hear from Chef Agarwal all about the special nuances of her native cuisine — nuances that too often go unnoticed at the more typical Indian restaurants.
