Imperfecto
5-Course Palate-Bending Pleasures Tasting Event
This chic, Michelin-Starred eatery opened in the West End in 2021 and has been creatively merging Mediterranean and Latin flavors ever since. (To great effect too – it was named to Washingtonian’s 2024 List of the “100 Very Best Restaurants”.) Executive Chef Rene González, who earlier in his career cooked with Chef Enrique Olvera at fabled 2-Michelin-Starred Pujol in Mexico City, thrills diners with dishes like moussaka cigar with smoked eggplant and manchego cream, bluefin-tuna tartare with payapa and pasilla chilies, tiger prawns "a la diablo", branzino with kabocha tamal and kumquats, lamb terrine, as well as such stunning desserts as chocobana (olive oil cocoa crumble, burnt banana ice cream, halva caramel) and The Golden Pear (Bosc pear poached in Moscato, with Sicilian lemon gel and thyme-vanilla ice cream). “Boasting all the buzz of a hornet’s nest, this soaring box of glass and marble virtually reaches for the sky,” says the Michelin Guide, so, naturally, we are eager to pay Imperfecto a visit. Please join us!
