Henrietta's
Day 3: 5-Course Seasonal Sophistication Tasting Series
Opened this past July in the Lower South End next door to the popular Rally Pickleball, this neighborhood bistro rooted in seasonal cooking and warm hospitality jumped right onto Eater’s List of “Best New Restaurants in Charlotte Right Now.” The menu, devised by Chef Andres Kaifer, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America who was previously Executive Chef at the Michelin-Recommended Customshop, is fresh and inventive, featuring such fare as burrata with apple butter, aged balsamic, and smoked pecans, beets with whipped goat cheese and black garlic molasses, mussels with pork sausage and coconut and saffron broth, and gnocchi with parmesan cream and mushrooms. Leave room too for desserts like key lime cake, chocolate brownie cake, and cherry cola sorbet, all served up in an inviting space, with exposed brick walls and warm lighting. “Dinner party vibes with an elevated menu from one of Charlotte’s top chefs,” is how Charlotte Observer describes Henrietta’s, so naturally we are excited to sup here. Hope you’ll be able to join us!
