Georgie

5-Course Farm-Driven Opulence Tasting Event

Opened in 2019 on Travis Street as a high-end steakhouse, Georgie metamorphosed in 2023 into a French bistro with Texas touches. Almost immediately, it gathered accolades, landing at #6 on D Magazine’s List of the “Best Dallas Restaurants Right Now.” Indeed, they called Georgie “the hottest high-end restaurant in town, period.” Executive Chef RJ Yoakum, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, has worked at Thomas Keller’s Three (Yes, Three) Michelin Starred French Laundry in Napa, as well as Michelin-Starred 42 Grams in Chicago and Michelin-Starred Angler in San Francisco, which he helped open. At Georgie, he is working wonders in the kitchen, with hors d’ouevres like potato churros with caramelized onion dip and carrot hummus, appetizers such as watermelon consommé and grilled Spanish octopus, and entrees like heritage pork tenderloin with whipped popcorn polenta, corn succotash, and cherry BBQ gastrique and pink snapper with lemon potato crust and shiso pesto. “A menu by a French Laundry-trained chef is making [Georgie] one of the best restaurants in Dallas,” raves Eater, so naturally we are pumped to visit here!
