5-Course Farm-to-Fork Tasting Event

Opened in 2022, this Regent Square steakhouse was named “No. 1 Best New Restaurant in Texas” by Texas Monthly and appeared on Thrillist’s “Best Steakhouses in Houston” List and GQ’s List of “Best New Restaurants in America.” Executive Chef Matt Sweeney, who cooked at Houston's Coltivare and Austin’s Carpenter's Hall, Olamaie, and Lenoir, is making the most of the Angus beef, totally natural without any hormones or antibiotics, that comes from 44 Farms in Cameron, Texas - not to mention the American Wagyu it sources from Snake River Farms in Boise, Idaho. The beef is then sent to Georgia James’ special dry-age room and onward to the cast-iron skillets, where it is grilled to perfection in the restaurant’s exciting open kitchen. Lots of great beginnings too, like Viet-Cajun roasted oysters and bone marrow tacos, sides that include brown butter roasted mushrooms and charred corn, and luscious desserts like strawberry panna cotta and mango cheesecake tart. Houstonia Magazine named Georgia James to its List of “Most Unique Steak Houses in Houston.” So, naturally, we are pumped to visit. See you there!

A Houston native, Chef Sweeney sharpened his skills as a sous chef at Coltivare before moving to Austin and working at Carpenter's Hall and Olamaie, as well as Lenoir. He recently moved back to Houston to join the team at Georgia James as Exec Chef.

Do I have to bring printed tickets to the event?
No tickets are needed.
What does the ticket price cover?
The ticket price covers the full cost of the meal.
Do guests need to be of a certain age to attend this event?
Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.
Does this restaurant allow BYOB?
No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
Tickets to our events are non-refundable. However, for emergency requests, we may allow members to transfer their tickets to friends, provided the guest ticket surcharge of $25 is paid when transferring a member ticket to a non-member. All ticket transfer requests (as well as the guest ticket surcharge) must be sent to us prior to the event. Any guests who have not paid the guest ticket surcharge will not be allowed entry.
What must I bring to the event?

Can I bring guests/non-members to this event?
Yep! For this event, guest tickets are $90 + tax & tip, and you can bring up to 3 guests. Please note, guests are not allowed to attend unaccompanied by a member.

What parking information has the restaurant provided for this event?
According to the restaurant, there is complimentary parking available in the Sterling structure. There will be signs as members enter into the courtyard area from the street. Additionally, there is also valet parking directly in front of the restaurant for $7/vehicle.
