Elise

Day 1: 5-Course Rivieran Reverie Tasting Series

Opened a year ago this August in the Woodruff Arts Center, this exciting eatery from Craig Richards, the celebrated chef who trained in Italy and who gave the city the Michelin Guide-Recommended Lyla Lila, has been featured on Eater’s 2026 List of “Best New Restaurants Around Atlanta.” With a name derived from Beethoven’s classic Für Elise and a space designed by the celebrated architect Renzo Piano, Elise has a seafood-driven menu with starters like smoked oysters with chermoula and crème fraiche and chicken liver mousse with strawberry-hibiscus jam and fried pistachios and entrees like roasted halibut with green garlic crème and steelhead trout with black-eyed peas and ginger beurre. Are you a landlubber? Don’t worry. Beef bourguignon and duck breast are highlights of the menu as well. Leave room too for the state-of-the-art lemon tart and other delicious desserts. Atlanta Magazine salutes the “light, elegant dishes,” while the Atlanta Journal-Constitution hails Elise as “artful, stylish, and sophisticated without pretension.” We seriously cannot wait to visit here and to chat with Chef Richards about his food ideas. Join us, won’t you?
