Donahue

5-Course Globally Inspired Tasting Event

Donahue, which opened in March of 2021 in the heart of historical Georgetown, exudes a fun elegance that feels part-speakeasy, part-private club. Saffron steamed mussels, crispy prosciutto endive salad, lobster risotto, caramelized roasted squab, and other such delights are served in an upscale lounge setting that makes you feel right at home. The restaurant’s name hearkens back to the 1820s, when the space housed a grocery run by the Donahue family, whose descendants were among the restaurant’s first customers. For our event, not one, but two chefs will rise to the occasion: Brian Rowe, a graduate of such top establishments as Spago in LA, Summer House Santa Monica in Chicago and Magnolia's on King in Alexandria, and Shelby McCrone, a 2021 winner in the Food Network’s Battle of the Brothers who earned her stripes at Marcel’s, Kyirisan, and Sababa Uptown. This promises to be a stunning experience, both in the culinary and the design sense, and we look forward to seeing you there!
