Butcher & Bee
8-Course Mediterranean Meets Southern Tasting Event
A veteran of Music City’s food scene since its opening in 2015, Butcher & Bee has hardly rested on its laurels. This year, it made Eater’s List of “38 Essential Restaurants in Nashville” and Thrillist’s “Best Nashville Restaurants” List. Executive Chef Chris DeJesus, who has been featured in StarChefs Magazine, is turning out Middle Eastern-influenced dishes that aim to please. His starters include items like figs and burrata, bacon-wrapped dates with pomegranate molasses and parmesan, mushroom arancini with tomato jam, and then it's on to mains like za’atar smoked half chicken with baba ganoush, crispy pork belly with grits, collard greens, and red eye gravy, and seared grouper with smoked squash puree, sauerkraut bearnaise, and fried squash skins. (Leave room too for desserts like tahini tartufo and sweet potato rice pudding.) “Butcher & Bee is a place I’ll be returning to again and again,” wrote Nashville Scene restaurant reviewer Steve Cavendish. We’re excited to visit and hope to see you there!
