Banshee
Day 1: 5-Course Avant-American Tasting Series
Opened in 2018, this East Atlanta Village eatery serves up New American fare celebrating seasonality, and has been gathering accolades ever since its inception. Executive Chef Nolan Wynn was named an Eater Atlanta "Best Chef" in 2018, as well as a James Beard "Rising Star Chef" Semi-Finalist in 2019; and, in 2022, Banshee was named to Atlanta Magazine’s “Best Restaurants” List and Wine Enthusiast’s “Top 50 Restaurants in the US” List. Now in 2025, it's picked up a Michelin Bib Gourmand honor, as well added a spot on Infatuation's "16 Best Places To Eat In East Atlanta Village" List to the length list of accolades. Hosting Chef de Cuisine Ben Lee Park is serving superb but unfussy food, with dishes like sweet corn lasagna, gulf tilefish with confit leek, blistered sungold tomatoes, and grilled cornbread, steak frites with chickpea panisse, onion demi, and Calabrian aioli, and collard greens arancini with bacon, sour corn mayo, and pepper vinegar. Make room too for an ingenious dessert like cornbread + milk, which features fried ice cream, smoked corn husk, and lime leaf meringue. “Banshee elevates East Atlanta Village’s reputation as a dining destination,” says Atlanta Magazine. “Irreverent, chill… and the chef has produced an inordinate amount of one-of-a-kind dishes.”
