5-Course Farm-to-Flame Tasting Event

Opened in 2018, this Aurora eatery inside Stanley Marketplace has been collecting accolades ever since. It earned a place on Bon Appétit's “America’s 50 Best Restaurants” List and was named Eater’s “Restaurant of the Year.” What’s more, Chef/Owner Caroline Glover, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America who worked for two years at The Spotted Pig in New York City (a pioneering gastropub run by famed British chef April Bloomfield), was a 2022 James Beard Award winner for “Best Chef: Mountain” and appeared on Food & Wine’s list of “Best New Chefs.” Her menu focuses on “scratch-to-table,” meaning everything is prepared from scratch. Here, diners find dishes like tahini grilled carrots with aioli, mint, and chickpeas, vegetable escabeche with chicories and cilantro crème, grilled beef tongue and marrow toast, steak frites, pork tenderloin tournedos with rhubarb glaze and curry sauce, and killer versions of profiteroles and pecan pie for dessert. “Simple yet stunning fare” is how 5280 characterizes Annette’s offerings, so we are excited to visit here and to learn more about how Chef Glover set out to realize her vision.

Chef/Owner

Chef Caroline Glover founded Annette in the fall of 2016. A 2022 James Beard Award Winner for “Best Chef: Mountain" (after being named a 2020 Finalist and earning Semi-Finalist nods in 2018 and 2019), she has also been named one of "America's 10 Best New Chefs" by Food and Wine. She is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

Courses #1, #2, #4 & #5 will be individually plated; course #3 will be served family-style. This menu will be Mushroom, Nut, and Shellfish Free. For the list of restrictions Chef is accommodating, scroll to the bottom of this page.

Do guests need to be of a certain age to attend this event?
Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.
Does this restaurant allow BYOB?
No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
Restaurants purchase the food for our events 14 days before the event date, at which point we are on the hook for the cost of your ticket. As such, we are not able to offer refunds (or credits towards future events) for any cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of the event date. We will, however, issue full refunds for all cancellation requests submitted at least 14 days before the event date. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@tastingcollective.com.
