Pig & Khao
10-Course Southeast Asian Event
Helmed by former Top Chef contestant Leah Cohen, Pig & Khao is known for its' inventive twists on classic Southeast-Asian dishes. Chef Cohen got her inspiration to open the restaurant from her journeys throughout Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines, where her mother was raised. Rather than focusing on the cuisine of one Southeast Asian country, the menu offers an assortment of Chef Cohens favorite dishes from all over the region. Bringing together all of the region's different cuisines into one succinct menu is no easy feat, but Chef Cohen manages to do so brilliantly. The restaurant has received widespread praise from the critics as both a NY Times and NY Mag Critics' Pick, as well as recognition from Zagat as the Best Asian Restaurant in NYC. We'll be taking over the private back room for this event, and Chef Cohen will be coming out to introduce the dishes and share stories.
