Yuyo

Restaurant In The Home Series: Pt. 6

With the sixth installment of our Restaurant In The Home series, we're heading to Austin (virtually, of course) for a collab with one of the city's most celebrated restaurants: Yuyo! In this masterclass on Peruvian food, Chef/Owner Maribel Rivero will be drawing upon her culinary acumen acquired from time spent cooking in Lima's top restaurants (see her bio below for details). Naturally, she'll be teaching us how to make Peruvian cebiche (a.k.a “ceviche”). But, she'll also be drawing upon the food traditions from regions that range from the Pacific coast to the Andes to the Amazonian basin with a mouth-watering 3-course meal representative of Yuyo's menu. Considering the fact that Chef Rivero was a 2019 James Beard "Best Chef: SW" Semi-Finalist, we can't imagine a better person to teach us the ins-and-outs of Peruvian cooking!
