The Eddy is a critically-acclaimed East Village staple that perfectly melds friendly hospitality with creative, market-driven food. At the helm in the kitchen is Chef Jeremy Salamon, who previously gained experience cooking in some of the city's top independent restaurants (see bio below). In early 2017, Chef Salamon went on a trip to Hungary to trace his Eastern European roots. He returned to NYC inspired to create food that plays off of his heritage and incorporates adaptations of recipes that have been passed down within his family for generations.
