Opened just this past May, this Fishtown eatery (and the latest creation from the team behind the ultra-popular Forîn) jumped right onto Eater’s July List of “Best New Philly Restaurants.” Executive Chef Jack Smith, a graduate of Johnson & Wales’ esteemed culinary program and an alum of such notable establishments as Brick Farm Tavern, Uchi, and a.kitchen, is executing a menu that includes intriguing dishes like buffalo chicken deviled eggs, gnocchi with carrot puree and crispy shallot, gulf shrimp with ramp harissa and coconut lentils, guajillo and coffee-braised lamb, and much more. Did we mention it’s all dished out in a ‘70s vibe sound lounge with elegant midcentury tones (which create a very special atmosphere indeed)?
