Opened a little under 2 years ago in April, 2024, this South End eatery featuring a unique East/West menu jumped right onto Eater’s List of “Hottest in Charlotte” and Charlotte Magazine’s “50 Best Restaurants” List in '24 and '25. Chef/Co-Owner Jay Pound, who previously served as the Executive Chef at Soul Gastrolounge and Kiki Bistro, has devised a menu that pulls ideas from all over the world and delivers dishes that satisfy. Here, you will find hen of the woods tacos, scallops with cherry blossom shoyu glaze, steamed BBQ chicken dumplings, miso lobster crepes with sweet corn pancakes, blue crab burritos, and so much more. And for dessert? How about mango sorbet paired with coconut rice pudding or churro con chocolate ice cream? And it’s all served up in a seductive lounge environment with leather banquettes, swivel club chairs, and a linear fireplace.
