Chef/Owner Guy Meikle, born and bred on the South Side, describes his restaurant Heritage as a love letter to the city of Chicago. How, you ask, does that translate from a culinary standpoint? In fact, the menu is filled with inventive dishes that have their roots in Mexico, Korea, and Eastern Europe. Rather than focusing on a specific cuisine, Chef Meikle embraces the culinary traditions of all the immigrants who came to Chicago and made it what it is today. And given that his own heritage lies in Eastern Europe, there is no shortage of caviar on the menu!
