Opened in 2021, this Phinney Ridge eatery has become a distinct destination for those who love Italian cuisine—although really, who doesn’t? Named by OpenTable to its 2024 “Best Seattle Restaurants” List, Autumn is the creation of Chef Brian Clevenger, whose impressive resume includes stints in Michelin-Starred kitchens in France as well as celebrated eateries like SF's Delfina and Seattle's Tavolata and Vendemmia. Working within the high drama of an open kitchen, his righthand man (and our host) Chef Ricardo Cruz Mendoza dazzles diners with dishes like gnochetti bathed in caper pork-and-beef ragù, prosciutto-filled croquetas with pecorino fonduta, tonnarelli with clams and pork sausage, and duck breast with sunchoke, apples, and beeswax. Each dish features the best seasonal produce the area has to offer, the highest quality meats and fish straight from the land and sea, and, of course, pasta that is lovingly made by hand.
