DAY 1: Taco-Palooza Fiesta
We told you we had some exciting stuff planned for September, and we meant it! For this event series, we're taking over Xixa, the NY Times Critics' Pick Mexico-City inspired restaurant for an incredible taco (and ceviche) fiesta with an all-time favorite chef of ours, Jason Marcus (more on him below). The format for this event will differ from our usual format in that you attendees won't be tied to specific seats. Throughout the event, you'll be encouraged to walk around to different stations spread throughout the restaurant and experience the full spectrum of Mexico-City inspired dishes Chef Marcus creates. There will be tables/seats though for those who prefer to stay seated. Knowing Chef Marcus, we have zero doubt this event series will be a complete and total blast! FYI We can't take any of the credit for this brilliant concept, as this one was all Chef Marcus. As always, Chef Marcus will be coming out of the kitchen throughout the evening to share stories. Below are some of the dishes he'll be serving us. Ya, there will be a few more surprise dishes added...
