6-Course Ode to Midwestern Comfort Dinner Event
Mark Twain, America’s greatest literary figure, once said, “The secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.” In other words, go for comfort. Maybe that’s why Chef Tim Graham decided to name his restaurant after his famous fellow Missourian. In this brand new Logan Square eatery, Chef Graham uses those spiral-bound women’s club cookbooks from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s as a jumping-off point for some truly inspired takes on classic Midwestern cuisine. It’s comfort food all the way at Twain, where you might encounter, on any given day, chive dumplings, beer cheese soup, gooey butter cake, and the like. We will be taking over the restaurant for this event, and Chef Graham will share his passion for Midwestern food traditions and answer any and all questions you might have.
