Globally Inspired Tasting Event

New York - February 17th at Traif

Wow, what a way to kick off the year in NYC! As always, Chef Jason Marcus and his powerhouse crew put on an impeccable show for the 60 members (and their guests) who came out. The first course instantly brought smiles to attendees' faces, and those smiles turned into laughter whenever Chef Marcus got on the microphone to talk food and share stories. The menu featured a mix of his greatest hits (we're looking at you, Spicy Tuna Tartare), and new creations (howdy, Orzo Risotto). While feedback was across the board GREAT on every course, below are the top three courses, as rated by attendees on their feedback cards:


1st Place: Orso Risotto - with porcini sauce, sottocenere, white truffle butter, and roasted mushrooms

2nd Place: Spicy Tuna Tartare - with Japanese eggplant tempura and sweet soy

3rd Place: Heritage Pork Filet Mignon - with castelveltrano olives, apricot caponata, and braised sunchokes
