Maison Chinoise

5-Course Nouveau Chinese Tasting Event

Opened last August on Cole Avenue in Knox-Henderson, Maison Chinoise is the latest luminary in the firmament known as Lombardi Family Concepts. These are the folks who gave us such top dining destinations as Taverna, Toulouse, and Lombardi Cucina Italiana, but also such Asian eateries as the sushi lounge Kai in Plano and Austin’s Joi Asian Bistro. Maison Chinoise, which Eater promptly named to its List of “12 Hottest Dallas Restaurants,” focuses on dim sum, dumplings, and regional specialties. Executive Chef Ivan Yuen is serving up distinctive fare like wok-baked green mussels with fermented black beans and aged orange peels, crispy pastrami egg rolls, wagyu beef pot stickers, Sichuan mapo tofu, crispy golden pecan shrimp, and so much more. And it’s all served up in what Crave calls “a captivating ambiance that will enchant guests,” adding that dinner at Maison Chinoise is “an unforgettable dining experience that beautifully captures the essence of classic Chinese cuisine while embracing the excitement of modern gastronomy.” In other words: Wowza!
